The vegetation is always exuberant in the eastern part of the Red Island. The parks shelter an exceptional flora as well as lemurs and various animals that are endemic to Madagascar. Therefore, this 14-days tour will develop your spirit of adventure by exploring the rainforest with its lush vegetation which is a home of the largest lemurs on earth: Indri Indri.  Then, embark for a three-day navigation - 400 km - by local barge on the Pangalanes channel which is a succession of lakes and rivers. A complete change of scenery will introduce you to the way of life of the local population. After that, you will go up towards Ranomafana National Park, a green setting that shelters several species of lemurs including the famous golden bamboo lemur as well as various waterfalls. Finally, you will return to the Highlands with its rice terraces, local crafts and its mountainous landscape.
